How much does it cost to become a Wholesale ISP with Data Pathway?

There are no fixed monthly fees to become a Wholesale ISP with us, however there is a minimum monthly billing of R3000 Ex VAT.

How do I manage the accounts I have with Data Pathway?

We provide a power API that is available in both a GUI (Control Panel) and REST web service that can communicate in HTML and JSON objects so you can choose to manage your accounts via the web page or integrate our API functionality into your existing website.

Do I get a custom realm?

Yes, you can choose any realm for your ADSL . Capped and uncapped realms are on separate realm. An uncapped realm has an additional fee of R200 Ex VAT per month.

How does the usage based billing model work?

Data Pathway does not bill per account created on the capped ADSL. This means you can create as many Hardcapped account as you wish, you will only receive an invoice for the total data used across your range of accounts on your custom realm.

E.g. You create 10 x 1GB ADSL accounts. If each 1GB account has used 100 mb, that is a total of 1GB used across all your accounts. Your invoice will be for 1GB’s worth of usage.

What is the cost price of the products?

Our ADSL per gig price depends on the total usage, the more you buy monthly, the cheaper the per gig price gets. For a full range of products and prices please enquire here.

What backbone do you use for your network?

We buy directly from Seacom for our primary ADSL connectivity. We also have SAT3 capacity as backup for redundancy.

How long does it take to get started?

From the time that we receive your signed contract it takes up to 7 Days to register your custom realm.

Who does the billing and support?

DP does not provide end user support and billing on the Wholesale Offering. The API shows information on all ADSL accounts which allows the ISP to provide desktop support to clients.

When do I pay for the service?

Invoices are sent out on the 2nd of every month, payment is due by the 10th of the month to avoid suspension of the realm.
